This project showcases BlueOceanTech's comprehensive approach to exterior home painting, from initial color consultation to flawless execution. Our goal was to revitalize the home's aesthetic, ensuring durability and curb appeal that perfectly matched the client's vision and the architectural style.

Color Consultation & Design

Our process began with an in-depth color consultation. Working closely with the homeowners, our design specialists helped them navigate a spectrum of options, considering factors such as natural light, surrounding landscape, and the home's existing features. The chosen palette aimed for a sophisticated yet inviting look. The main body of the house was painted in a warm, inviting taupe, complemented by crisp off-white trim and a deep charcoal gray for the front door and shutters, providing a striking contrast.

• Valspar SeasonFlex Exterior Paint + Primer (Semi-Gloss finish) for all trim, ensuring a clean, bright contrast and excellent adhesion.

Equipment & Application Process

To ensure a smooth, uniform application and efficient project completion, our skilled team employed professional-grade equipment. The primary tool for the broad surfaces was a Graco Ultra Max II 695 airless paint sprayer. This allowed for rapid and even coverage, minimizing streaks and maximizing paint adhesion. For intricate details, edges, and trim work, we utilized high-quality Purdy brushes and Wooster rollers, ensuring precision and clean lines. Extensive preparation, including power washing, scraping loose paint, sanding, and priming, preceded the painting to guarantee optimal results.

Project Timeline

The entire exterior painting project, from initial surface preparation to the final coat and clean-up, was completed within approximately 6 full working days.
